The role-playing game with adventure elements has finally matured into something more impressive than the game itself. Investigation, exploration, solving puzzles, character interaction, and focusing on story rather than reflex-based tasks are the hallmarks of the adventure game genre, which can be played on a computer or a video game console. Exploration is typically required in adventure games, though the degree to which this is the case might vary depending on the interface type. Adventure games have several inventory and logic problems; nevertheless, some titles provide more outlandish sorts of difficulty. Various puzzle types are available in adventure games, some of which lend themselves more naturally to being woven into the narrative than others. The concept of "adventure" used in adventure games is not consistent with how the word is defined in dictionaries. Some people are, but most choose to engage in calmer and more thought-provoking activities. In addition, these are neither role-playing games that focus heavily on battles, teamwork, and point management, nor are they action-adventure stories.
